Environment
Viewpoint 1) A very pleasant short and easy walk along the Frome Valley Walkway with many views of the viaduct. The path is wide and smooth. May be muddy after rain. The path can be accessed from the Dingle Bridge in Winterbourne Down or from Hicks Common Road where the railway crosses the road.
Viewpoint 2) a narrow lane off the A432. The lane peters out at a wides farm track junction where you can pull off and park. The viaduct is in plain sight ahead. The local residents are very friendly but please respect their property boundaries.

Photographic notes
The viewpoint is North facing so the sun is always behind you except in high summer when it will be on your Right / Left in the early morning /evening.
The footpath is quite wide and flat so using a tripod should not be a problem, but be considerate to walkers.
A longish lens is required for this location (50-200mm).
